Jean Patricia Manley, a beloved Edmonds resident, passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving behind a legacy of love and community service. Born on January 24, 1936, in Seattle, she was a devoted mother to five children and a cherished friend known for her infectious laughter and passion for animals. Jean graduated from Seattle University and, alongside her husband Joe, was instrumental in founding St Thomas More Catholic Church and School in Edmonds. Her family invites the community to a rosary vigil on March 19, followed by a funeral mass on March 20, where attendees can celebrate her life and contributions. After the mass, a reception will be held in Dalton Hall, providing an opportunity for friends and family to share memories.

Jean will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private service at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery. The family appreciates the compassionate care she received from Cogir of Northgate and Continuum Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fr. Renggli Financial Aid Fund for STM School Students, honoring her commitment to education and community support.
