St. Albans to hold drive-thru food collection March 15

On Saturday, March 15, St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds will host a drive-thru food collection from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m.

to support the Edmonds Food Bank and other area food banks grappling with rising food costs. The church is calling for donations of non-perishable food items such as soups, canned meat, and peanut butter, as well as essential baby items like diapers and infant formula. Volunteers from the church will be present to facilitate the collection, ensuring a smooth process for donors. The need for food assistance has become increasingly critical, with local food banks noting the strain of rising prices on their ability to provide for those experiencing food insecurity.
