Named after travel expert Rick Steves, the award exemplifies the values of service and citizenship, which are central to Rotary's mission. The recipient will be celebrated at a luncheon on April 15 at Claire’s Restaurant, where they will receive a $250 cash prize, an engraved plaque, and heartfelt gratitude from the community. Rotary Club Public Image Chair Theresa Ibler expressed enthusiasm for recognizing those who contribute significantly to Edmonds.

The nomination process is accessible, allowing submissions online or via a QR code, making it easy for community members to participate.
