The City of Edmonds has officially announced the return of the beloved Uptown Evening Markets for the summer of 2022, taking place on six Tuesdays from July 12th through August 23rd. Located in the Highway 99 neighborhood, the markets will run from 4 PM to 8 PM on 236th Street, between 84th Avenue West and Highway 99, behind Safeway. This vibrant community event promises a variety of local vendors selling fresh produce, handmade crafts, and an assortment of food options, making it a must-visit for residents and visitors alike. Live musical performances will further enhance the atmosphere, with local folk-rock band Lazuli Shoals performing on July 12th and bluegrass group 100 Huckleberry’s on July 19th. The City expresses gratitude for the support from Safeway and Edmonds Lutheran Church, which play vital roles in the event's success.
