City Announces Let's Ride Edmonds Campaign

Edmonds, WALocal News

The City of Edmonds, WA, has initiated the "Let's Ride Edmonds" campaign to celebrate Washington Transit Month and promote the use of various transportation modes among its residents. This initiative is supported by Community Transit, which has provided 200 ORCA cards for youth aged 18 and under, enhancing accessibility to public transport. The campaign invites families to engage by sharing photos or videos of their transit experiences on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, with the chance to win prizes for their contributions. Active until June 30th, the campaign aims to encourage sustained use of mass transit throughout the summer and beyond. The city is also welcoming transit stories from adults, ensuring inclusivity in the campaign's outreach.

For those without an ORCA card, assistance is offered to obtain a free card with a one-month regional pass, courtesy of Community Transit. This initiative not only highlights the importance of public transportation but also fosters community engagement. More details are available on the City of Edmonds' official website, reinforcing the city's commitment to sustainable transit solutions.
