The Gallery at Graphite will host "Goddesses," a retrospective exhibition celebrating Edmonds artist d’Elaine Johnson's 30-year career, from December 5, 2025, to January 3, 2026. The opening reception is set for December 6 from 7 to 8:30 p. m. Johnson, now 93, paints full time and has played a crucial role in establishing Edmonds as Washington's first Creative District. The exhibition features goddess figures inspired by various cultures and showcases Johnson's artistic evolution.

She expressed elation that her career-culminating exhibition is held in her hometown, where she began her journey as an artist. The event also includes a small exhibit of works by Edmonds College art students, highlighting Johnson's dedication to supporting young artists. This exhibition underscores Johnson's legacy as a feminist and philanthropist in the local art community.
