Save the date Lynnwood public menorah lighting set for Dec. 21
The Lynnwood Public Menorah Lighting is set for December 21 at 4 p. m. at the Lynnwood City Center Light Rail Station. The event will showcase a 9-foot Menorah and offer holiday treats along with activities for children, including face painting and balloon twisting. For the second year, a South County Fire ladder truck will perform a "Gelt Drop," showering attendees with chocolate coins.
This celebration, now in its 14th year, is organized by the Chabad Jewish Center of Snohomish County, which aims to promote cultural awareness and community engagement during Hanukkah. Last year’s event attracted a large crowd, indicating strong local interest. The festivities are open to all and encourage participation from the wider community. Participants can also create personal Menorah kits as part of the activities. More details are available at snohaimish.
