Cascadia Art Museum will launch its "Free to See" initiative on Nov. 20, providing free admission every third Thursday and year-round free access for teachers. This program honors the legacy of Gary Faigin, who advocated for accessible art, especially for educators and students. The museum aims to enhance community engagement and strengthen partnerships with local schools. Concurrently, the "Will Play for Food" fundraiser on Nov.

15 will feature live performances from local musicians to benefit the Edmonds Food Bank. Organizer Jess Pillay highlighted the growing issue of food insecurity in the community, emphasizing the power of music to unite people. The event encourages donations to the food bank while enjoying live performances. Both initiatives not only promote the arts but also address pressing social issues in Edmonds. These efforts reflect a broader commitment to cultural accessibility and community support in the region.
