Reminder Friends of the Edmonds Library Fall Book Sale Saturday, Nov. 8
Friends of the Edmonds Library will host their annual fall book sale on Saturday, Nov. 8, featuring around 2,000 books across various genres. Volunteers transported 70 boxes of donated books to the Edmonds Library, where they sorted them into categories such as fiction, non-fiction, and children's literature. The sale will open for Friends of the Edmonds Library members at 10 a. m.
, with public access from 11 a. m. to 4 p. m. Funds raised will support the library's literacy programs and fund six additional literacy projects each year.
Established in 1979, the Friends of the Edmonds Library has grown from 15 members to about 100 active volunteers today. The fiction section boasts the most volumes, showcasing works from hundreds of authors. The nonprofit organization plays a significant role in promoting literacy within the community.
