Overnight I-5 lane reductions and ramp closures this week for Sound Transit work

Sound Transit contractor crews will implement overnight lane reductions and ramp closures on I-5 in Mountlake Terrace from November 3 to November 7 as part of the Lynnwood Light Rail extension project. The northbound I-5 off-ramp to westbound SR 104 will close nightly from 9 p. m. to 5 a. m.

, alongside restrictions on the right lane of southbound I-5 between 220th Street Southwest and SR 104. Additional closures include two right lanes on the 236th Street Southwest off-ramp from northbound I-5 and the northbound I-5 off-ramp to eastbound SR 104. Commuters should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes during this period. This project aims to improve public transportation access and connectivity in the region.
