Edmonds-Woodway secured a 3-1 victory over Meadowdale in girls soccer, highlighted by Audrey Rothmier’s goal and assist. This win ensured that Edmonds-Woodway advanced to the District tournament as the No. 4 seed, while Meadowdale must win a play-in game against Mount Vernon on October 30 to continue its season. The District tournament includes twelve teams, with the top four seeds automatically qualifying for the double-elimination format. Edmonds-Woodway concluded the regular season with a strong record of 7-2-3 in league play and 10-3-3 overall.

In volleyball, Meadowdale narrowly defeated Lynnwood 3-2, while Mountlake Terrace recorded a 3-1 victory over Shorecrest. Archbishop Murphy continued their unbeaten streak, overpowering Edmonds-Woodway 3-0. Both Meadowdale and Edmonds-Woodway will look to bounce back in their respective upcoming matches. The local high school sports scene remains competitive as teams aim for postseason success.

The Lynnwood-Alderwood Manor Heritage Association will present a free Living Voices performance, "Native Vision," on November 2 at 1 p.m. in Lynnwood. Actor Lori Tapahonso will portray Alice, a Navajo Code Talker, highlighting themes of Native resilience and identity.
