Living Voices to present Native Vision in Lynnwood Nov. 2
The Lynnwood-Alderwood Manor Heritage Association will present a free performance titled "Native Vision" on November 2 at 1 p. m. in the Wickers Building, located in Heritage Park, Lynnwood. Actor Lori Tapahonso, a member of the Navajo Nation, will perform alongside archival media to recount the story of Alice, a Navajo Code Talker during World War II. This performance explores themes of Native resilience, identity, and service, highlighting the experiences of Native American boarding schools and the significant role of Code Talkers.
