The Edmonds School District honored 12 high school students as Students of the Month for September 2025, recognizing their excellence in academics, leadership, character, and community service. Jessica Huot from Edmonds-Woodway High School serves as ASB Executive Clubs Officer and Key Club Vice President, focusing on improving communication among clubs. Kailani Terwilliger, the ASB president at Edmonds-Woodway, values the friendships formed through ASB and aims to inspire others. Eniyah Washington from Edmonds eLearning Academy stands out for her proactive academic engagement and personal interests outside of school. Zephyrus Carter and Evangeline Carballo from Edmonds Heights K12 highlight the importance of resilience and inclusion in their respective roles.

Meron Merid and Achi Robair from Lynnwood High contribute to their communities through leadership in student organizations and volunteer work. The recognition of these students reflects the district's commitment to fostering leadership and service among its youth. The Lynnwood-Alderwood Manor Heritage Association will present a free Living Voices performance, "Native Vision," on November 2 at 1 p.m. in Lynnwood. Actor Lori Tapahonso will portray Alice, a Navajo Code Talker, highlighting themes of Native resilience and identity.
