Clothes For Kids influenced how I see clothes, fashion and community Event celebrates Lynnwood-based nonprofit

Clothes For Kids, a Lynnwood-based nonprofit, clothed 5,678 students in the 2024-25 school year, providing essential items such as 23,390 pairs of underwear and socks, 17,034 pants and shirts, and 5,678 coats and shoes. The organization hosted its annual Transforming Lives Breakfast on October 23, with an attendance of over 100 supporters, and aims to raise $40,000, having raised $10,890 as of Thursday afternoon. Speakers at the event, including past customers Anna Vuu, Delilah Rodriguez, and MJ Guadamud, shared heartfelt stories about how Clothes For Kids positively influenced their self-esteem and sense of community. Vuu expressed that receiving clothes helped her feel confident in school, while Rodriguez appreciated the kindness of the staff. Guadamud noted that the experience transformed her perception of fashion and community.

Executive Director Cassie Morey highlighted that this year's figures mark the highest number of students served in the organization's history since its founding in 1984. Pat Greenstreet received recognition for her outstanding volunteer contributions, including donating stuffed animals for comfort. The organization continues to serve low-income children in Snohomish County and the Northshore School District.
