The 20th annual Halloween Howl at Edmonds off-leash dog park featured 27 dogs and their owners, who braved chilly weather to showcase their costumes. This year's event raised about $1,200 for new signage at the dog beach, as confirmed by OLAE spokesperson Diane Buckshnis. "Where’s Waldo" won Best in Show, while "Sammy as astrodog" earned the Most Original title. The event has successfully supported park maintenance since its inception in 2006, with funds generated from local business donations and silent auctions. Second and third place in various categories included creative entries like "Athena as police and prisoner" and "Zahra as cowgirl.
