Mountlake Terrace Hawks dominated Shorewood Stormrays 35-14 in a crucial 3A Wesco League South Conference game, maintaining an undefeated record at 6-0 overall. Junior Andrew McBride expressed the team's determination, noting their focus on securing the conference lead since the offseason. The Hawks surged ahead with an 86-yard drive, highlighted by McBride's 56-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Mason Wilson, extending the lead to 21-0. Owen Boswell contributed significantly, rushing for 130 yards and scoring three touchdowns. The Hawks' defense restricted Shorewood to just 14 points, marking the Stormrays' lowest scoring game of the season after averaging 45.
