Local nonprofit to celebrate community leaders in annual fundraising breakfast

Leadership Snohomish County (LSC) will host its 10th annual Leadership Day on October 14 from 7:30 to 9 a. m. at the Tulalip Resort and Casino, aiming to raise $30,000 for its leadership development initiatives. The event will honor three local leaders with prestigious awards, including the Deborah Knutson Women in Leadership Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award. Last year's recipients included Linda Nuenzig from Snohomish County Government and Steve Woodard, Ph.

D. LSC's Chief Executive Officer Adrianne Wagner highlighted the critical role of investing in leaders who embody community values, especially during challenging times. The keynote address will be presented by Rochelle James, CEO of the Tulalip Tribes, who has a strong connection to LSC as a former board president and alumnus. Attendees can donate to support LSC's programs and scholarships. Local businesses are invited to sponsor the event, gaining benefits such as free tickets.
