Edmonds Village hosts grand opening celebration

Edmonds Village officially launched its senior living community on October 2, drawing nearly 200 attendees for a festive grand opening. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Mayor Mike Rosen, highlighted the contributions of community members, including Councilmember Will Chen, who received the Friend to Our City award. Executive Director Wendy Kleppe noted the importance of fostering a vibrant community where aging is embraced. "You embody the dream to create a place where aging is embraced," she remarked during the celebration. Guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with food, music, and conversation, strengthening local connections.

Edmonds Village, located at 21200 72nd Ave. W. , aspires to be a vital part of the Edmonds area. The initiative reflects a growing trend towards supportive senior living solutions. As the community continues to develop, residents can expect a focus on compassion and joy in their everyday lives.
