"Origin / Identity / Belonging II," a solo exhibition by Michael Wewer, opens at Edmonds College Art Gallery on October 10 and runs until December 12. The exhibition features 50 black-and-white portraits, significantly expanding from the original project. Wewer, who has been a faculty member since 2001, aims to celebrate the cultural diversity of the community, showcasing individuals from various national origins such as Palestine, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Tibet. He believes his work creates a space for visibility and connection, stating, "Through my photos, I am also able to help people be seen and make their stories heard. " The opening reception is scheduled for October 10 from 2:30 to 4 p.

m. in Lynnwood Hall. Wewer's project reflects the strength of the multicultural community at Edmonds College and fosters a sense of identity and belonging.
