Everett Stand Down event set to help veterans Oct. 3

A Veterans’ Stand Down event will occur on Friday, Oct. 3, from 9 a. m. to 3 p. m.

at the Carl Gibson Center in Everett. This event focuses on providing critical support to military veterans in need, offering services such as Medicaid enrollment, medical and dental assessments, and employment resources. Various organizations will be present to help veterans with issues related to military sexual trauma, housing, and suicide prevention. Lynnwood Heroes Café and Snohomish County sponsor the event, demonstrating a strong commitment to veteran support. Lunch will be available for all attendees, fostering a community atmosphere.
