Edmonds, WALocal News

Tickets for Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County’s annual Raise the Roof fundraiser are now available. Scheduled for September 27, the event will run from 5 to 8:30 p. m. at the Lynnwood Event Center. Attendees can enjoy food, drinks, and a silent auction while hearing from guest speakers about the nonprofit's local work.

Habitat for Humanity empowers homeowners to build and repair their own homes, ensuring they pay affordable mortgages alongside volunteers. The fundraiser aims to bolster these initiatives in Snohomish County, where the need for affordable housing remains critical. Last year, the organization helped more than 30 families secure stable housing. Tickets can be purchased through the organization’s website, providing an opportunity for the community to contribute to local housing solutions. This event not only raises funds but also raises awareness about the importance of affordable housing.
