Swifties unite There is a Taylor Takeover coming to downtown Edmonds Oct. 3

Downtown Edmonds will celebrate the release of Taylor Swift’s new album, "Life of a Showgirl," with a Taylor Takeover event on October 3. Musicology Co will host the official record release party, opening early at 10 a. m. and featuring activities such as bracelet making and album listening, while donating a portion of sales to Women in Vinyl. Sunlight Gallery will provide Swiftie-themed photo ops, with proceeds from Polaroid sales benefiting Madrona Children’s Theater.

Molly Moon’s will offer a special ice cream sundae, and Swiftified will perform live at the Main Street Commons stage. Participating businesses will be marked by orange balloons, creating a festive atmosphere throughout downtown. Local restaurants, including Vinbero and Kelnero, will contribute with themed drinks. This community-focused event not only celebrates Swift’s music but also supports local charities and promotes engagement among residents and visitors alike. The Taylor Takeover highlights the collaborative spirit of Edmonds’ businesses.
