Edmonds Art Studio Tour offers behind-the-scenes look at creative spaces

The Edmonds Art Studio Tour marked its 20th anniversary on September 21, showcasing 39 local artists in a free, self-guided format. Visitors explored private studios, gaining a personal connection to art through direct purchases from artists. Since its inception in 2006, the tour has expanded from 16 studios and 29 artists to 19 studios and 40 artists this year. Among the featured artists, Ken Ketchum's acrylic works highlight whimsical landscapes, while Bear Carpenter's vivid scenes of local landmarks resonate with the community. Jennie de Mello e Souza's studio displayed a range of artworks, often centered around the theme of rabbits in various forms.

The event fosters artistic conversation and inspiration, allowing visitors to engage with the creative process.
