Edmonds Port Commission names Brandon Baker as executive director

The Port of Edmonds Commission appointed Brandon Baker as executive director on September 16, 2025. Baker joined the Port in 2020, advancing from marina manager to deputy executive director before taking on the acting role in May. His appointment reflects the Commission's commitment to strategic priorities, including environmental stewardship and regional economic vitality. Commission President David Preston commended Baker’s leadership and the respect he has earned within the community. Baker will manage a team of 30 employees overseeing daily operations at the Port, including the Harbor Square Business Complex.

Major initiatives under his leadership will include infrastructure replacement and long-range master planning. Baker holds multiple industry certifications and previously managed Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle. He expressed excitement to serve the Port of Edmonds community and lead the team with integrity and passion.
