Edmonds, WALocal News

Girls on the Run Snohomish County will host its 9th annual Sneaker Soirée on September 27 at Hotel Indigo at the Everett Waterfront. Attendees are invited to wear cocktail attire paired with sneakers for a night filled with auctions, games, and a program celebrating the organization's decade of impact. Last year, the event provided critical funds, with over 55% of participants receiving financial assistance. Executive Director Megan Wolfe stated that each ticket and auction item sold directly supports local youth empowerment programs. Since its founding, the organization has helped more than 5,000 kids in grades 3–8 through after-school and summer programs.

The curriculum is designed to help children build resilience, empathy, and confidence while promoting community service. Individual tickets and VIP tables include dinner, wine, and access to the evening's festivities. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www. GirlsontheRunSnoCo. org/Sneaker-Soiree.
