St. Albans to hold drive-thru food drive Sept. 20

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church is organizing a drive-thru food drive on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a. m. to 2 p.

m. to support local food banks. This initiative will collect non-perishable items such as soups, canned meats, and peanut butter, along with diapers and infant formula. Local food banks have reported rising costs for food purchases, highlighting the urgent need for community support. Cash and checks made payable to St.

Alban's, marked “Food Drive,” will also be accepted. Volunteers will assist at the church, located at 21405 82nd Pl. W, near Edmonds Five Corners, to facilitate donations. The church encourages the community to contribute, as the collected food will directly help those experiencing food insecurity in the area. To locate the church, look for signs on 84th Avenue West and 212th Street Southwest.
