The Frances Anderson Center will debut a new indoor play space for children under 5 during an open house on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a. m. to 2 p. m.

This event will feature a variety of programs for youths and adults, including digital music creation, yoga, and mixed martial arts. Families can enjoy a free performance by The Reptile Man at 10 a. m. , with opportunities for close encounters with reptiles afterwards. The event is made possible through a private donation, highlighting community support for local initiatives.

Additionally, the center offers dance classes such as hip hop and salsa, as well as STEM programs, reflecting a diverse range of activities aimed at fostering creativity and physical fitness. The introduction of the indoor play area and programs underscores the center's dedication to youth engagement and community involvement.
