Edmonds, WALocal News

The Edmonds Senior Center Thrift Store will host its fifth annual fall fashion show on September 7, aiming to raise funds for programs that support local seniors. This year, the event will feature four visiting artists showcasing repurposed clothing, which promotes sustainability and creativity in fashion. A highlight of the show is a silent auction for a unique piece crafted by artist Dawn Malkoski. Proceeds will benefit the Community Café at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, which serves meals to registered seniors at a nominal cost of $4. If cost is a concern, scholarship funds are available.

The event will take place at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, with doors opening at 11 a. m. for shopping and the fashion show starting at 1 p. m. Tickets are available for $30 for VIP seating and $20 for general admission and include refreshments.
