Scene in Edmonds Not-so-trivial pursuits

Edmonds, WALocal News

The Edmonds Waterfront Center hosted its All Ages Trivia event on Thursday night, drawing 138 participants across 23 teams. This turnout marks a significant increase from the inaugural contest in 2017, which attracted just 22 participants. EWC President CEO Daniel Johnson acknowledged the continuous support from annual sponsors Dr. Gregg and LaFon Jantz, owners of Red Twig. Attendees honored the late Dr.

Jantz, who passed away on July 4, by raising a virtual mug in tribute to his community contributions. The next trivia event is scheduled for October 30, indicating a growing interest in local events. Trivia nights have become a staple for community engagement in Edmonds, providing both entertainment and camaraderie. Johnson's remarks emphasize the importance of local sponsorship in sustaining such initiatives. As trivia night continues to evolve, it reinforces the community's connection and support for the Edmonds Waterfront Center.
