Sounder trains available for Washington State Fair in Puyallup Aug. 30

Sounder trains will provide special service to the Washington State Fair in Puyallup on August 30. The first train departs Everett at 8:45 a. m. , arriving in Puyallup by 10:37 a. m.

, while the second leaves Seattle shortly after. Evening return trains will leave Puyallup at 5:50 p. m. and 6:50 p. m.

Riders can sign up for service alerts to stay informed about schedule changes and special events. An ORCA card, which costs $3, can also help riders skip lines at ticket machines. This service aims to accommodate fairgoers and alleviate traffic congestion around the event. Additional special service is scheduled for September 13, further facilitating access to the fair. The initiative represents an effort to enhance public transportation options for local events.
