Mariachi Divas, a Grammy-winning all-female mariachi band, will perform in Edmonds on September 20, showcasing their unique blend of traditional and contemporary music. Founded in 1999 by Cindy Shea, the ensemble has earned eight Grammy nominations and produced 16 acclaimed albums. The event will include a pre-show talk at 6 p. m. with Shea, discussing the mariachi art form and the group's impact as cultural ambassadors.

Special guests Mount Vernon Mariachi & Folklorico will join for the final song, representing the largest program of its kind in Western Washington. Attendees can also enjoy a complimentary dessert at Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant with their ticket. The performance emphasizes the significance of women's contributions in a historically male-dominated genre. Tickets for the event are currently available, encouraging community support for live performances.
