City modifying its walk-in counter service for planning and development center

Starting September 2, Edmonds City Hall will modify its hours for the planning and development walk-in counter service. The permit counter will be open from 8:30 a. m. to 3 p. m.

on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a lunch closure from noon to 1 p. m. It will not operate on Wednesdays. This adjustment allows residents to access services without an appointment during set hours. Planning and Development Permit Center staff will still be available by phone from 8 a.

m. to 4:30 p. m. on weekdays, ensuring ongoing support for community inquiries. This change reflects the city's commitment to improving service access for residents.
