Edmonds schools foundation receives Gesa Credit Union funds

Gesa Credit Union awarded over $75,000 to six school districts in Western Washington, including the Foundation for Edmonds School District, through its Affinity Debit Card program. This initiative represents the largest annual giveback, with nearly $440,000 distributed to 31 partner districts across the state. The funds will support academic program enhancements, technological needs, and extracurricular activities. Brandon Allison, Gesa's AVP of Community Impact, noted that community support made this achievement possible. Since the program's launch in 2015, Gesa has raised more than $2.

2 million for local schools through member transactions. Gesa's Affinity Debit Cards are available at no charge to members with checking accounts, allowing them to support local education effortlessly.
