Volunteers needed for Sounds of Africa Festival Aug. 15-16

The Washington West African Center calls for volunteers for the third annual Sounds of Africa Festival on August 15-16 at Garfield Park in Everett. This festival aims to foster diversity and facilitate business exchanges between the African community and others. Attendees will have the chance to explore traditional African cuisines, fashion, languages, and music. Roles for volunteers include entrance check-ins, traffic control, and media support. The event seeks to empower the West African community in Washington through cultural exchange.
