Snohomish County seeks applicants for $6 million in funding to bolster behavioral health services in the region. The funding, which includes $3 million for facility capital improvements and another $3 million for secure withdrawal management, targets nonprofits, for-profits, local governments, and federally recognized tribes. Applications are due by 4 p. m. on August 29, with a focus on projects benefiting Snohomish County residents.

To facilitate understanding of the funding process, the county has scheduled two informational sessions on August 12 and 14. Applicants must submit a complete electronic application to the county's human services department. This funding opportunity aims to address critical gaps in behavioral health services following recent assessments highlighting the need for improved facilities and management.
