St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds will host a National Night Out event on Aug. 5 from 4-8 p. m. This community gathering will feature a variety of activities, including free food, games, and visits from local first responders like the Edmonds Police Department and South County Fire Department.

Attendees can enjoy backyard games, soccer, and volleyball, fostering a sense of community. While attendees are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items or monetary donations to the Edmonds Food Bank, participation is free of charge. National Night Out is an annual campaign aimed at enhancing community-police relationships and is celebrated on the first Tuesday of August. The event serves as an opportunity for residents to engage with law enforcement and strengthen neighborhood ties. The church is located at 21405 82nd Pl.
