Edmonds Senior Center Thrift Store hosting 5th annual fall fashion show Sept. 7

The Edmonds Senior Center Thrift Store will host its fifth annual fall fashion show on September 7, with proceeds directed towards senior community programs. The event features four artists showcasing their repurposed clothing, turning thrift store items into unique pieces. A silent auction will introduce a special creation by artist Dawn Malkoski, adding excitement to the fundraising efforts. Funds raised will benefit the Community Café at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, which serves meals to registered seniors for a nominal fee. Tickets, available for purchase starting August 1, are priced at $20 for general seating and $30 for VIP seating, which includes refreshments.

The fashion show will open at 11 a. m. for shopping, with the show itself beginning at 1 p. m. The event reflects a growing trend of sustainable fashion and community engagement.

Local sponsors include Key Bank and Peoples Bank, highlighting support from the community.
