Upcoming kids fire camps offer free fun for whole family

Edmonds, WALocal News

South County Fire will host four Kids Fire Camps in August, offering engaging safety activities for families. The camps will be held in Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Brier, with no registration required. Activities feature a firefighter challenge obstacle course, fire engine tours, and the opportunity to spray water from a fire hose. After a successful camp in Mill Creek, the initiative aims to educate children about fire safety in an interactive manner. Families unable to attend in person can participate in an Online Fire Camp, providing activities to complete at home.

The camps emphasize the importance of fire safety education for children of all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend these free events. This effort reflects South County Fire's commitment to community engagement and safety awareness.
