Their journey began in 2013 when their daughter Mary encouraged them to retire and travel full-time, introducing them to Airbnb. By selling their possessions and living in various countries, they created a lifestyle that allowed them to connect with locals and fellow travelers. Their Facebook page, Senior Nomads, now boasts 18,000 members, reflecting their impact on older travelers. The couple shares 12 lessons from their adventures, emphasizing principles like prioritizing experiences and fostering curiosity.

Despite facing challenges such as illnesses and theft, they maintained a positive outlook, viewing obstacles as growth opportunities. The Campbells' story highlights the joy of living in the moment and the bonds formed through travel.
