The third annual Sounds of Africa Festival will occur on August 16 at Garfield Park in Everett, organized by the Washington West African Center. The festival runs from 1-7 p. m. and focuses on fostering diversity and peaceful coexistence among various communities. Attendees will explore traditional African cuisine, fashion, languages, and music, with vendors showcasing food, clothing, arts, and crafts.

The event aims to create meaningful business exchanges between the African community in Washington and other communities.
