St. Albans Episcopal Church hosting Community Night Out event Aug. 5

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds will host a free National Night Out event on August 5 from 4-8 p. m. This community-building initiative will feature complimentary food, engaging activities for children, and opportunities to interact with local first responders, including the Edmonds Police Department and South County Fire Department. Attendees can participate in various backyard games, street chalk artistry, soccer, and volleyball.

While guests are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to benefit the Edmonds Food Bank, such contributions are not required for attendance. National Night Out occurs annually on the first Tuesday of August, aiming to strengthen community ties and enhance relationships between neighbors and law enforcement. The event will take place in front of St. Alban’s Church, located at 21405 82nd Pl. W.
