Edmonds Driftwood Players announces 2025 scholarship winners

Edmonds Driftwood Players awarded $3,000 in scholarships to three high school seniors: Lucas Harrison, Khaysia Lutfi, and Aidan Cavanaugh. Each student will receive $1,000 to support their college education. Harrison, a Woodinville High School graduate, received the Ralph Eaton Technical Scholarship for his exceptional work in technical theater and will study theater arts at Western Washington University. Lutfi, a graduate of John F. Kennedy Catholic High School, earned the Theatre Arts Scholarship and plans to advocate for inclusion in theater while attending Hofstra University.

Cavanaugh, from Edmonds-Woodway High School, received the AC & Norma Gehrig Memorial Scholarship and aims to study both musical theater arts and pre-veterinary science at Western Washington University. Their achievements underscore the significance of theater education and representation in the arts. The Ralph Eaton Technical Scholarship honors a dedicated volunteer who contributed significantly to the Driftwood community. The Theatre Arts Scholarship was established in 1988 to support emerging artists in the field.
