Snohomish County seeking applicants for affordable housing, emergency bridge and shelter housing projects

Snohomish County encourages nonprofits and developers to submit applications for affordable housing projects, including rental housing and emergency shelters. An estimated $1,054,917 in federal funds through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program is available for the 2026 program year. Potential applicants are invited to attend virtual information sessions on July 22 and July 24, which will address both HOME and Affordable Housing and Behavioral Health Capital Funds. These projects aim to support low-income individuals and families in Snohomish County. The deadline for applications is 4 p.

m. on August 15, 2025. The availability of funding will determine the awards made in 2026. Interested parties can reach out to the county’s Human Services Department for additional information. This initiative reflects the county's commitment to addressing housing shortages and supporting vulnerable populations.
