Sundays annual Edmonds in Bloom Garden Tour will combine floral beauty with local history

The Edmonds in Bloom Garden Tour will occur on Sunday from 11 a. m. to 4 p. m. , featuring eight historic gardens in Edmonds.

Visitors will explore gardens linked to homes on the Edmonds Register of Historic Places, with many owners emphasizing the importance of preserving their gardens as part of the community's heritage. Event organizer Patty Fleming expressed excitement for the anticipated turnout and mentioned that guests would likely see volunteers dressed in period costumes while enjoying live music and observing artists at work. As of Saturday afternoon, a limited number of tickets were still available for $30 each at Edmonds Ace Hardware. On Saturday, a "host tour" was held for garden hosts and invited guests, showcasing the event's atmosphere. The tour aims to provide an immersive experience that connects attendees with the area's history.
