Job and Resource Fair comes to Tacoma July 24 for National Hire-A-Vet Day

The National Hire-A-Vet Day Job and Resource Fair is set for July 24, 2025, from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma.

This free event welcomes military personnel, including active duty, National Guard, Reserves, veterans, and Department of Defense employees. Over 60 employers will be present, with many recognized as YesVets members for their commitment to hiring veterans. Job seekers can access community resources, including resume and interviewing assistance from WorkSource experts. Washington Department of Veterans Affairs Director David Puente Jr. highlighted this fair as a significant opportunity for employers and veterans to connect.

Participants are encouraged to register online in advance to enhance their job-seeking experience. Registration and parking are complimentary, and attendees can print their resumes for free at the fair. The Hilton Honors Military Program offers accommodation points for those traveling from over 50 miles away, further facilitating attendance.
