Sounder trains available for Sundays Seattle sports events

Sound Transit’s Sounder trains will provide special service for fans attending the Mariners and Sounders games on July 6. The inbound train from Snohomish County departs Everett at 10:45 a. m. , stopping in Edmonds before reaching King Street Station at 11:44 a. m.

The Mariners will host the Pittsburgh Pirates at T-Mobile Park at 1:10 p. m. , while the Sounders FC will face the Columbus Crew at Lumen Field at 2 p. m. The return train will leave King Street Station approximately 45 minutes after the last game ends, ensuring fans can quickly head home.

Rider alerts will notify passengers of the exact return departure time, and they can subscribe for updates at Sound Transit's website. This special service enhances accessibility for sports fans, adding to existing transit options like Link light rail and ST Express. An online schedule for Sounder event trains is available on the Sound Transit website. The coordinated service reflects a commitment to facilitating public transit for major local events.
