Public invited to learn about SR 99 Lynnwood, unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study

WSDOT invites public feedback on the SR 99 Lynnwood and unincorporated Snohomish County Pre-Design Study through an online open house until July 28. The study aims to enhance safety and access for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users along SR 99, specifically between 212th Street Southwest in Lynnwood and Airport Road south of Everett. Participants can access study information in various languages, including Spanish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese, and leave comments on the website. WSDOT plans to analyze feedback to guide future improvement concepts, which will be shared in a follow-up online open house. Free WiFi is available at local libraries, facilitating participation for those without broadband access.

The initiative emphasizes improving transportation safety and access in the rapidly growing Snohomish County area. Enhanced safety measures will benefit all road users, particularly vulnerable populations. This study represents a proactive approach to address community needs and promote sustainable transportation solutions.
