The Arts of the Terrace 45th annual juried art show invites artists to submit their work by August 15, ahead of the exhibition from September 20-27, 2025, at the Mountlake Terrace Library. Over the past 44 years, the show has developed a reputation as one of the best in the Pacific Northwest, offering over $5,000 in prize money for various art forms, including paintings and sculptures. In a separate announcement, the Cascade Symphony Orchestra will commence its 2025/26 season at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, featuring a mix of new works and beloved classics such as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. The season opens on October 27 with a concert showcasing talented young pianists Aaron Jin and Jeffrey Zhao.

In response to community demand, the orchestra will also host two “Holiday Pops” concerts in December. To engage younger patrons, the CSO introduces a discount ticket program for those under 50, aiming to cultivate future audiences. Current season ticket holders can renew their tickets starting July 1, with single concert tickets available from August 1.
