The City of Des Moines is offering residents a valuable opportunity to dispose of storm debris at no cost during the SCRUB and MEGA SCRUB events scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2020. Following severe weather earlier in the week, this initiative aims to assist residents in managing yard waste effectively. Events will be held at three locations: MWA Transfer Station and MWA Compost Center from 7 a. m. to 2 p.

m. , and MEGA SCRUB at Polk County River Place from 7 a. m. to 1 p. m.
