Public Works Director Jonathan Gano has indicated that the storm will likely impact travel starting Tuesday afternoon, prompting recommendations for residents to stay off the roads. Over 200 employees and 100 pieces of equipment are on standby for snow removal efforts, emphasizing the city's commitment to keeping streets accessible. Notably, the department has already utilized 450 tons of salt in preparation for the storm, which will help mitigate immediate snow accumulation.
